Susan Neiman

19 set., 21:00 – 22:30

For Susan Neiman, the answer isn't just economic, geopolitical, or technological, but cultural: it was the confusion between the left and woke ideology that paved the way for the far-right to power in the United States, as well as in Europe. A thesis that Neiman had already presented, almost like a prophecy, in her 2023 essay, "Left Is Not Woke."
Born in the United States but residing in Berlin, Susan Neiman, a philosopher and writer, is among the most authoritative, original, and acclaimed cultural voices internationally. Dario Fabbri

20 set., 15:00 – 16:30

ENGLISH

The return of Donald Trump to the White House and the politics of tariffs. The wars setting the planet ablaze, from Ukraine to the Middle East. The great commercial, military, and technological clash between the United States and China. The role of Vladimir Putin's Russia and that of a Europe increasingly torn internally and confined to the corner as an inconsequential spectator.
Are we on the eve of a new world? Are we truly experiencing a turning point in history that will lead to a redesign of the balances governing humanity? Are globalization and democracy now architectures of the past?
With Dario Fabbri, one of the foremost analysts and popularizers of geopolitics, and founder and director of the magazine Domino, a 360-degree analysis of current events in a world in pieces. An interpretation that, as Fabbri proposes through "human geopolitics," hypothesizes the future thanks to a raw reading of the present, expertly interwoven with the history of peoples and empires.

Roberto Saviano

21 set., 17:30 – 19:00

ENGLISH

Over the last twenty years, no one has been able to describe organized crime and its mechanisms quite like Roberto Saviano. He's covered the Camorra, the 'Ndrangheta, Cosa Nostra, and South American cartels, both in Italy and around the world.
His cultural and civil work has placed a spotlight on public opinion, revealing not just the violence and power of the gangs and their bosses, but also the financial and political entanglements that allow the mafias to prosper. The writer has disseminated his narrative not only through his books but also on TV, in film, on stage, and through social media, reaching millions of people of all ages.
The price Saviano has paid for his work and success has been exceptionally high. Due to the death threats he received, he has had to sacrifice twenty years of his freedom, a large part of his life itself. The author of Gomorrah has always described this condition of being a person under protection without filters, never hiding the deep anguish he has suffered.
